Jenny Zoe Casey divides her time between Seattle, WA and Brooklyn, NY. She was born in Oregon and spent her formative years in rural and working-class neighborhoods on the island of Oahu. She earned a BFA from the California College of Arts and Crafts and an MA in Art History from the University of Washington.

Her work has been shown nationally at colleges, universities, community art centers, and artist-run spaces. She has completed residencies with the Vermont Studio Center and the Oxbow School of Art, and was awarded an Illinois Arts Council grant. She has also contributed writing to Two Coats of Paint.
